This illustrated album intensely expresses the feelings of an orphaned boy who experiences both hope and fear regarding his adoption. The boy’s moving story is intertwined with the contained emotions of the woman that decides to adopt him, until both recognise each other as mother and son.

Biography: Ricardo has published more than 200 books, all aimed at children and young adults (YA), and many of them have won prestigious awards, such as the Lazarillo, Serra d’Or, Apel·les Mestres, Espasa Calpe, and White Ravens. His books have been successfully translated into many languages. He has also written plays and TV shows.
