Every parent knows the struggle. Many kids learn early on to use the “I don’t like….” language. So often when a child declares that they don’t like a food, they haven’t even tried it. Or, they tried it once. Usually they’re eyeing up the food and have concerns about the texture or color. They’ve learned that when they say they don’t like food, adults back off. But, this story might be a way to help children actually learn to eat new foods, because the truth is, they may not truly dislike all the foods they claim not to like.
Yummy, yummy tells Clara's story. A very cheerful girl loved by her classmates. But there is something that has her worried......After jumping, dancing and exercising, why is eating such a big sacrifice for her? No, it's not that. She's simply not interested in food. And if you put unfamiliar foods in her mouth, she's horrified!
