A Crocodile on the Farm

With the idea of accompanying boys and girls from 3 to 6 years old as they take their first steps in reading, the stories in the “Horse” collection help them gradually discover the mechanisms of reading so that they can follow the stories using their intuition and previous knowledge.

Biography: Susanna Isern is a writer, psychologist, teacher and mother of three children. She graduated in Psychology from the University of Barcelona and specialised in clinical psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid. For more than a decade she combined her work as a therapist and university lecturer with her passion for literature. She currently devotes herself exclusively to writing. She is a leading author of children's and YA's literature in Spain: She has published almost a hundred books in Spanish.
Illustrator: Carles Ballesteros
Biography: Carles Ballesteros was born in Badalona (Barcelona) in 1977. He attended art school before studying Fine Arts at the Universitat de Barcelona and completing a postgraduate course at Escola Eina in Barcelona. Since 2011, he has lived in Santiago, Chile, where he teaches illustration classes at the local university and works as an illustrator for publishers in Chile, Spain, and the UK.
