With the idea of accompanying boys and girls from 3 to 6 years old as they take their first steps in reading, the stories in the “Horse” collection help them gradually discover the mechanisms of reading so that they can follow the stories using their intuition and previous knowledge.

Gusti Biography: Gusti was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1963. He studied advertising design at the Escola d'Art Fernando Fade and has lived in Europe since 1985. He first worked in Paris and now lives in Barcelona, where, in addition to working as an illustrator, he teaches illustration at schools, libraries, and cultural institutions. He was awarded the National Illustration Prize in 1990 and the Lazarillo Illustration Prize in 1991. His work Perro y gato (1998) was selected at the VI Symposium on Children's Literature and Reading, organized by the Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation in June 2000, as one of the one hundred works of 20th-century Spanish children's literature. In 2007, he received the Crítica Serra d'Or and Junceda awards. He is a co-founder of the non-profit association WINDOWN-LA VENTANA, which works towards a more inclusive society through the visual arts, conducting inclusive workshops with people of diverse abilities.
