Uncle Paco and the Snow

When Julia is afraid, when she feels lonely or behaves stubbornly, uncle Paco is always able to get her to think about what is bothering her. She is lucky to have an uncle like him! Here are three stories told very gently, which will help children to come to terms with their little difficulties. Each tale also includes some tips for the parents about problem solving and also textures to appeal to the young ones.

Biography: Ricardo has published more than 200 books, all aimed at children and young adults (YA), and many of them have won prestigious awards, such as the Lazarillo, Serra d’Or, Apel·les Mestres, Espasa Calpe, and White Ravens. His books have been successfully translated into many languages. He has also written plays and TV shows.

Illustrator: Sebastià Serra
Biography: Sebastià Serra has illustrated more than 70 children's books. Also, he has worked as graphic designer for several TV shows, theatre, museums and cultural institutions. He was selected three times for Bologna Ragazzi Award and also for the Society of Illustrators of New York. He took part in illustration exhibitions at The Museum of American Illustration of New York, Chicago Art Institute, Northwestern University of Illinois, Itabashi Art Museum of Tokyo, Korea Society Of Illustrators, International Illustrators Exchange of Prague and Frankfurt Book Fair. He won the Mercè Llimona Prize, the Lola Anglada prize, the Serra d'Or Critics Prize, and twice Junceda award.
